Glock USA .....WTF???

Nothing is fitted on a GLOCK, I don't think it really matters where it's made/assembled. Beside the tennifer finish that was dropped in 2010ish because of EPA regulation, there isn't much difference...

More pew pew, less mew mew :)

Assembled in the USA from components designed in Austria and manufactured in China :D

I would rather buy a glock that was made in austria. Same for the beretta 92FS I own, it was made in italy.

Wtf with the usa glocks. I do agree.

My ruger was made in usa, and that's fine, but I prefer my glock to come from austria. Just me.

And my hk was made in germany....

What the hell is the thread about. USA glocks have been around for many years but they are becoming even more common. The usa stamped models are fully made in the usa not half and half like the Austria models. Also by your angry comments towards Yankees I'm not shocked to see your in gta

Hey, don't paint us all GTA's with that same brush!

Don't bother me one bit who makes the guns so long as the company is reputable and there's someone to deal with any unforseen issues locally. If the gun is made in Italy, Austria, Germany, Swiss etc and you don't have local support or easy access to spare parts, you're no better off. If it makes you sleep better at night, have at it...

Julie Andrews says that no Glock parts are made in China. Who woulda thunk it !!! And I thought she just spun on mountaintops.

Although I prefer the made in Austria ones, I have owned USA ones and they look exactly the same, if not better.
I did notice that the finish changes whether they are Austria or USA. I have a G17 made in Austria with 4K rounds thorough and the finish is all worn off.
The made in USA had the old finish, very durable, and it is difficult to wear that one off... I saw another USA the other day and the finish was the same as in my worn Austrian...so finish wise, it is hit and miss and it seems to vary depending on the year and batch. I think that the newer ones, all come with the easier to wear off finish, whether they are from Austria or USA.

Not a made in the USA fan or anything, just sharing my experience, so in other words: I am pretty confident they are both exactly the same quality wise.

I was a little disappointed when I noticed after buying my first pistol a Gen4 17 that it was marked USA, but then again I didn't even notice until I brought it home that it was marked USA not Austria. I was just not aware that they now made them in the USA also, so I was just expecting it to be marked and made in Austria. I now have 3 of them, a USA 17, AUS 19 and AUS 21C....And as far as fit and finish and how they shoot I notice no difference....They all work great and seem to have the same quality of manufacture.

As for the slide finish they all look them same, I don't notice any difference between the finish on any of them

Either was if you prefer the AUS marking then just keep buying Gen 3, pretty simple no? Just dont buy any gen4's and you wont get any USA marked slides....

Such a pointless thread, I'm sorry....but does anyone find it pathetic and a POS move to have new Glock pistols to be roll marked USA instead of AUSTRIA ???

Who ever gave the green light for new USA markings needs a swift kick in the teeth.

Glock put Austria on the MAP .....how dare they sell out and have USA stamped on the slide. Yes they have the plant in Synia or whatever, and probably made an agreement to have USA on new pistols, what a POS move, and I spit on all USA marked Glocks.

I freak'n love the Glock pistol, and have owned the G17, G21, and G27... All Gen 3 with factory night sights, nothing beats an AUSTRIAN 3rd Gen Glock, like CocaCola...it's a classic....the one and only.

Makes me sick....freak'n filthy Yankees gotta falsely plant their flag on everything. You already claimed the Italian Beretta 92F with U.S. M9 roll marks, you need to snuff out the Austria marking on the GLOCK too? Glock belongs to Austria like the .45 ACP belong to the Red White & Blue ;)

Sorry lol pointless rant...

So you get all pissy about a glock that says made in USA. Would it make you fell better to know the mold for the glock was made in Canada. Or should that also be made in Austria. This would also go for HK's sl8 and g36 stocks

Wow. Funny how colt Canada/diemaco products in the "filthy" USA are collectable. Good thing they don't feel the same way about us as you do of them. Could you imagine on AR15.com some american calling us "filthy Canadians" cause CC builds ar15s that say "Made in Canada"? I'm guessing you are the gun owning version of Adam Vaughn.

PS I have a LOT of family and friends that own guns that are " filthy Americans".
