Glock vs. HK USP vs. Walther vs. Steyr

Great review,

The USP follow up shots are noticeable quicker than the rest. Even though its not polymer, if you get pics of one, maybe include the Sig 226 as well.

It's been a while since I touched the USP, but I'd say it's probably the slowest shooter out of the 4; that high bore axis turns the recoil into a muzzle flip (vs push back)...at least for me anyway

A M&P would have really made it a complete review .

you got it backwards... USP is far easier and quicker to shoot faster than any of the rest. Trigger reset is quick.

Great post! thanks a lot, I'm soon to get a polymer handgun and was leaning toward the USP. Now I have even less doubt about it, just need to feel the grip in MY hands.

you should try Steyr; trigger pull/reset is only 4mm, it also has the lowest bore axis of any service gun out there (HK probably has the highest) so you get almost 0 muzzle fip...

I have a Steyr with the trapezoidal sights and can't quite figure out how to use them. Do you put the front triangle inside the rear angled lines or on top of them like a letter 'A'?

You will shoot way high if you line the Steyr up like that. There is a sight for XD and other pistols that works like that - you make a big triangle out of it - but the Steyr doesn't work that way. The triangle (front site) is supposed to fit inside the trapazoid (rear sight) - how exactly they line up... I still don't know. I have had the best results with the tip of the triangle sticking up above the rear sight in the sight picture.

yeah this is one of the best non biased comparisons on here :) . And no "hear say" just owners true opinions not "well friend of mine hates his XX pistol and the guy down street say its junk and so on  " and so on... that we tend to get on here by times :D
