Hello everyone, I'm wanting to buy a new pistol this will be my first one (not new to pistols though). I have been looking at a lot of different ones, eventually I will have all of the ones I want but for now I'm looking for an answer on what to buy first. Should I buy the IWI Jericho or a glock 22 ?

Like I said I aim to have many pistols eventually. I already know the IWI brand with my Tavor and think it would be nice to have a matching pistol. At the same time I have shot a few glocks and loved them.

So what will it be CGN ?

Also want a Colt 1911, S&W 686, S&W M&P 9, Beretta 92fs and a few others :p

Buy the one that fits your hand best. I'd be thinking Glock though. Likely be able to find parts easier if you ever needed any.

They do make a nice match together...

Got a few Glocks and a CZ Combat(Very similar to the Jericho) These are two very different guns. You really should try to shoot each of them before you buy, or at
least as sunray said see how each one feels in your hand at the gun shop.

If you really plan on buying a few, then it doesn't matter. They will both serve you well. I have a Glock 17 and will likely get a Jericho down the line. They are a ###y pistol. By the way, I'd suggest a 17, as 9 mm is fairly cheap.

I know the right answer is to buy both, but I will have to agree with the others who say, "Fire both and see what fits you the best". Or, do better than either of those and get a Colt 1911. A Jericho may go with a Tavor, but a 1911 goes with everything.

There is no wrong choice here.
I own a Jericho 941 polymer and a Glock 17. The Jericho range kit is a hard deal to beat and a great gun, incidentally it was my choice for first gun.

I've got the Jericho in .40S&W with steel frame, it just feels ###y and shoots awesome. But for parts/accessories a Glock would be the way to go, if you're into toys that is.

I shoot my Jericho way better than I shoot any glock. In the end it really boils down to the shooter and personal preference so go with whatever fits your hands best and you feel is most natural for acquiring a good sight picture. It sounds like you'll end up with one of each eventually but might as well start with whatever works for you best.
