Glock vs K100

when I said how well the gun fits you I meant it to include how well you shot it, which would also include how well it pointed for you. not just how it felt in the hand. But you are far more likely to shoot a gun well if it is a comfortable gun in your hand. If it's awkward feeling chances are you aren't going to shoot it worth a ####.
Agreed 100%--and if you have a chance to try both that'd be the best bet. Although I've been a Glock owner for 15 years I'm certainly intrigued by the K100--it looks like a very good design at an attractive price, and the presence of the designer on the board here is a very welcome surprise. As a few of the other members have mentioned up-thread, though, it may be best to wait a bit to see how it works out.

I own both a K100 and two G-19's and a G-23. While I do like the K100 a lot, I still prefer my Glocks. I have been shooting them for about 13 years now though, so I do have a little bit of bias towards the Glocks. Interesting note that I haven't seen mentioned here yet. The K100 frame has absolutely no markings on it whatsoever.

Personally, owning both a K100 and G22, I find I shoot them both equally well (or is that poorly... ). Both guns are around 1.5K round count so I cannot comment on the long term reliability.

The one thing I will give the K100 a higher grade on is the ergonomics. It just seems to fit my hands better.

I will echo the sentiment that as the K100 is new, there is a lack of aftermarket support (holsters, etc..).

BTW, I am sure those following the K100 reports from Omen (with my K100) on the odd F2F issue on the last round in rapid fire exercizes... I am happy to report that Marstar sent me another GP Mag to test (Kudo's to Marstar..:D ). I also now have 8 more CZ modified mags of assorted mfg(OEM, Promag, etc).

So, anytime you want to beat up on my K100 again Omen, let me know...:)

I will also state it is very refreshing to have access to the MFG on this board for the Gun....That level of commitment and access speaks volumes for me..

If anyone gets out to MCO, give me a PM and will let you give it a try.

Regards, Brent
