Tricked out and comped....very nice
I don't think it's either--it looks like a newer G34 (they have the opening in the slide to keep its mass the same as a G17) that has the slide pre-machined for a mini optic. I'm guessing that the only visible non-stock part is the cocking handle. (Just noticed the trigger, too)Tricked out and comped....very nice
Yup, I'm not a fan of that unnecessary charging handle. I like the stock trigger too. I'm not sure about the red dot on a pistol either. But hey, I'm down with Gen 4s.Very ugly, I like them stock
What's the point of slotting a machined pocket in the top of the slide ?
Glock wanted the slide mass of the G34 to be the same as the G17's so the G34's slide was designed with the cutout. The barrel is not ported like the "C" models. What's the point of slotting a machined pocket in the top of the slide ?

I owned a Gen 3 G34 for about ten years and didn't notice any issues, although of course it was range use only. I would guess that if it was used in muddy conditions it could cause a problem, but that's not really the intended use. That I did not know.....does it let crud into the slide assembly?
