Glock warranty work done in Canada?

Police ord. handles the warrenty work and will also handle all cross border issues if you somehow need a new slide or frame.

Doubtful you'd need it. I don't think I've heard of a glock failing in a way that wasn't user error, in some way or another.

ETA, spent a lot of time, reading about probs on Glock Talk. I formally rescind my previous comment.

Yup Police Ordnance does all the warrenty work. My gun is there right now getting some work done. James Cassells is the guy you need to talk to 1 905 479 2223.

Not always. Some of the newer G21SF models have had issues with the ambi mag release not working properly, mine completely fell out. It was confirmed by James at Police Ordnance. Do a google search and you will see for yourself.

Guys, I know Glocks are good - I've owned a couple, but why do people automatically assume that they are absolutely without fault. God didn't come to earth to design and build a pistol in Austria and change his name to Gaston Glock. The production line is staffed by neither angels or elves, but every time someone has an issue with a Glock (regardless of the shooters skill or ability or experience) someone says "most of the time it's the shooter". Given some of the recent issues Glock is having - dating back to Gen 3.5 guns that wouldn't go bang with a light mounted, and continuing on with Gen 4 guns having extraction issues and the above issue with the mag catches on ambi guns, why can some folks not accept that Glock is, and always has been a handgun built by humans. That is to say fallible.

I agree.

I guess i was talking to the wrong guy. Cause i called got a new guy who apparently is the president, so since talking to him its been smooth sailing! Gun is on its way back to me now with some new night sights added.

Here is my advice.

Glocks are simple and easy to understand. Complete disassembly (down to every little piece and spring) is possible is less than a minute or two. Study and understand what each piece does and how it they all relate to each other.

Unless the problem is major, learn how to repair it yourself. Glock parts are so dirt cheap, that it will probably cost more to ship the gun for warranty work than to buy a few spare parts and keep them in the rare event something breaks.

ya, i agree with that, but if you read the whole thread you would have seen that i had to have the receivers swapped out, which is not something i could do myself, it had to be done at Police Ordnance.

My advice was more directed to the original poster... who was asking about potential future issues... which most likely will be minor.

No one said Glocks are infallible. Its just common knowledge that the need for warranty work(or any work) on Glocks is very rare.
