Glock

Cool... that's a very early mode though so that might be why you're having no luck :)

I see the Serial Number starts with "CO", "CC" or "CG."

I'd suggest going to GLOCKTALK and use their serial number database to see what is in there. If you don't see "Threaded Glock 19" in the list then this was probably a very limited run that never went to public.

Good luck, please post your findings.

I really don't think this is a a G-19 pro. The threads are Cold Welded on to a factory 102mm barrel to make it restricted. I have yet to see a G-19 pro anywhere in Canada.

CFC does not accept 2 piece barrels ....they did at one point in time, but no more...this one may have been in the system long enough to allow it to become restricted.

I believe these squeaked in before the standards were changed. Is the rifling continuous to the tip of the muzzle.....that will tell all.

I was wondering about that G19 too.

I called Glock in Georgia to see if the had ever heard of factory Glock barrels in extended length for the G19. I spoke to three different people there and none of them had ever heard of such an item. The one guy said that it doesn't mean there wasn't any, just that they had never seen them for the US market. He said Europe is a different story though. He did agree that it would be unusual for Glock not to offer it in the US as it is one of their biggest markets.

The closest I have come to finding a G19 with an extended barrel from the factory was someones personal web page where they claimed that such items were made for the Australian Police and Immigration officers in the '90s. I can't find the link now, but I would consider this speculation as I haven't found even one other source to back that up.

Hope you have better luck than I did finding info. Good luck.

Mystery solved , thanks for all the help......

Dude, you removed your original post and now you won't tell us the answer??
I'd like to know.

*EDIT*
Ok, thanks... so it was a threaded end that was welded to the original glock barrel. Interesting. I'd think it would be easier for Glock to just make a factory threaded barrel :)
