If you have prior service history (police fire EMS or military) you can buy from police ord. Otherwise I believe that the shooting edge has them.

This is the location of the Advantage Arms Conversion kit on the Police Ordnance page.

http://w ww.policeordnance.com/ go to Products then Firearms parts or Accesories. Then click on .22 LR conversion kits.

Here's a picture of the kit.

I've never dealt with them before but they do say that this kit is available to Individual as well as law enforcement.

:D

Hungry here: Just de-commissioned your hotlink to Police Ordnance since they are not a sponsoring dealer to the CGNutz site. Even if I bought my G17 there, I have to abide by the CGNutz rules. Barney

Ok thanks, sorry about that!

AA kit no longer listed on the TSE site. I expect they are sold out for now. Was selling at $349. FYI it will work on either the G17 or G22 frames. Give them a shout to see when next batch expected.
Cheers:)

I currently own a new in box 2nd generation Glock 17L, a 3rd generation Glock 17 and two Advantage Arms .22Lr conversion units one new in box and the other test fired only. I may part with them as my interest now lies in 1911 type pistols.

A buddy of mine has the AA kit. An excellent investment! Reliable, the mags are identicle in size and cheap to shoot all day.

No doubt! I have one for my G21 that I got from Jo at Police Ordinance for ~$370 (extra mags ~$40). You don't have to be Mil/LEO to shop there either- just to buy all the good stuff and get a discount.;) Just call/email Jo and he will let you know what is available for civilians. Luckily this includes the AA kits.

Mine has saved me big bucks...A whole magazine of MiniMags costs the same as one round of factory .45. Thats ten times the fun for the same money. No satisfying boom like the .45, but you are in no danger of developing a flinch from the recoil either. Good trigger practice too...It has helped me shoot .45 much better as a bonus.
