I am in the process of picking out a Glock. I wanted something to use a conversion kit on. I was wondering what most people recommend.

Glock 17 in 9mm is the most popular and one of the few that a conversion kit will fit. They also fit the Glock 22 chambered for 40 cal.

Do you mean a .22 conversion kit, or converting to a different centerfire calibre?

I've got a G17 and an Advantage Arms .22 conversion kit. It's picky about ammo but runs well on the right stuff. Damn thing won't fit in any of my holsters with the AA kit on it though.

If you have smaller hands, a G17 (9mm) or G22 (40SW) is in order. Larger hands would benefit from the larger grips on the G20 (10mm) or G21 (45acp). The Advantage Arms kits work great and can be fitted to any of the above pistols - just pick your centerfire calibre of choice.

I just purchased my first handgun G22.

You can buy a conversion barrel from Lone Wolfe. With G22 you can convert it to .357 sig or 9mm.

Just a thought.
