Hi, so I had my glock sights changed out for some Tru Glow tritium sights and the front is loose, besides going back and getting them tightened where I had them installed, is there anything additional that should be done to ensure this does not happen again. Will locktite work?

Canadian Tire I presume?

The size should be 3/16", but a standard socket widens half way, and there may not be room for it. If you can find a 3/16" deep socket in 1/4" drive that should work.
A 3/16" nut driver will work so long as the shaft is straight, not wider than the tip. (lots of 'that's what she said' in there...lol)

I use red locktite on sights.
Blue may hold, but I never want my sights coming loose.

Ive used blue and red locktite installing Glock sights. Ive never had any issues with them backing out when using blue, but the front sight area can get pretty hot if you run your gun hard so I have used red as a little extra insurance. Just remember if you do choose red getting your front sight off will require that you heat up the night to break it free. I have several Glocks and changed the sights on all of them, I bought a front sight tool from glockparts for 9 or 10 bucks, worked fine and was cheap.
