Can glocks shoot the TMJ bullets that wolf bullets sells. I have heard the TMJ are just plated bullets and are essentially the same as plain lead bullets. I think this would pose a problem. Anybody know forsure

As far as I know, plated bullets are fine, because they are sized to .355", as opposed to the lead which are typically sized to .356"

Someone here should be able to confirm

TMJ means Total Metal Jacket.

If I am not mistaken, Wolf mostly uses copper plated bullets. Either one is fine in a Glock. I have shot tens of thousands of both types through Glocks with no trouble at all.:D

Just DO NOT shoot lead projectiles out of a Glock without cleaning the barrel thoroughly every 100 rounds or so. There is DOCUMENTED proof of high pressure spikes with lead bullets in Glocks after extended shooting. It is not an old wives tale. The lower pressure cartridges such as 45 will take longer, but 9mm and 40 are high pressure loads to start.

I shoot cmj tmj fmj wc hp out of my lwd barrel. The manual says that glock will not warranty if non-factory rounds or lead is fired through the glock barrel.
