i wonder about fire hazard issues, i already got wooden bullets banned from my range, i'm sure this would be a no go as well?

that is the lovely part about these they r just stickers u put on the back of the projectiles there in no firehazard more then there is with regular ammo

This would be very handy at IPSC matches. Although it looks like you can't see it outside during the day. Oh well, at least indoor matches would be good.

I'm guessing that IPSC bans tracer rounds but that might be because of the fire hazard. Since these aren't flammable maybe IPSC will have to make a ruling on them.

im planning on ordering some for my self in 9mm at the range i R.O at on the weekends there is a guy who bought some last summer and they worked good. at first i almost kicked him out till he showed me what there where exactly

If the US considers them to be ammunition components, they'll be governed by ITAR so unless the manufacturer is registered with US DOS, and the exporter has all their paperwork in order and fees paid, we won't be seeing these up north any time soon I bet.

I ordered some when they first came out. Unfortunately AmmoGlow does not ship to Canada at this time but said they(Brian) would look at acquiring license to export in the future(that was over a year ago). So, I had them sent to my US address and have tried out the 9, 40 and 45.
They are OK in daylight but u really need to concentrate in order to see them. They are at their best in low light or darkness for obvious reasons. They are easy to apply and work almost all of the time. Only ever had a couple fail to react.

I found best pricing to be thru Midsouth Shooters. Not sure if I will order more as they really are pretty pricey and unless u have a specific use for them, such as a training aid, they are pretty much a novelty.

I've been contacting all the gun stores to see if we can get these and the shotgun cyalume tracers from Fiocchi in. Everyone I emailed said they can't get tracer rounds imported but I kept telling them this stuff is NOT flammable it's just cyalume. One day someone will figure it out.

no, well maybe just in case. mainly just like to try various things, working on glue gun bullets, primer only. put it through plastic target holders. not accurate at all though.
