GMX, TSX, powder difference

I know they are different bullets, but how comfortable would you be using TSX data with a GMX bullet.

With the same powder and same grain bullet, the GMX apparently gets the same speed, but with less powder than the TSX...

Just curiosities.

I have always shot Barnes TSX and TTSX, but decided to try GMX...

I have them here and they seem so damn similar...
 
Not quite the same, one is 100 percent copper, the other 95% copper, 5% zinc.(guilding metal, the same as the jacket material) Makes it a slightly harder bullet, and needs to be driven slightly faster to get optimal results. My GMX data says to load them the same as regular cup and core bullets. While TSX bullets have different data.

How about a black bear? Definately some grouse and rabbits. Just let me know. Maybe try for a moose if you got time. I have a Winny .30-30 if you need it, plus my locker has lots of rifles and I have a bucket load of ammo, so I think its a date. :yingyang:
