God Bless American Gun Prices

M&P sport2 15 was $599. Canadian last week, sold out before I seen the add, hope they come up again, for that price, it would make it at least equal to the U.S. Price shown! Just gotta be at the right place/right time to grab the deals!

The thing is that all gun shops must sell at or above MAP (minimum advertised price).
The MAP is a contract between the dealer and the manufacturer/middle man.
The concept of needing to be a member eliminates the need to respect MAP since the prices aren't available to the general public and thus it cannot be considered "advertised", hence being able to sell at such low pricing.
Genius idea really.
The said "store" will have much higher volume and thus be able to keep prices low and still make a great profit at the end of the day.
Place that I'm referring to is called Big Daddy Unlimited. Very good prices.

If the dealer's were making so much off of us why are they shutting down? Can think of at least 3 in AB that shut down in the last year. The fact is they have a lot of costs including the exchange and higher taxes. I wonder how many will ##### when there are no gun seller's left?

We also have great deals on firearms they would love to have like all the Norinco copies and Turkish pistols and shotguns. Then there are the huge variety of cheap SKS’s and Russian surplus pistols and rifles we can get for cheap. 8” barreled Shotty’s for legal use for $349 new is insanely cheap from their perspective.

It's the rediculous cost of doing business here in Canada
Taxes, wages, insurance, banking fees, you name it.

I would not be surprised if quite a few people who run mom and pop stores earn less than or close to minimum wage per hour if they add up all their hours of work and do the math.
