goex 3f in 45/70

I think I'm using FFg but it could be FFFg.

I'm using Goex ffg in my 45-70's and 50-70.

Have tried all 3 Fg, FFg and FFFg all three make it go bang and smoke my preference thought is FFg for the 45-70.
Right now am going to try FFFg in my 40-70 SS.

Anyone using Cartridge powder? Is it still being sold and is it worth the extra few dollars a can?


Generally I use FF in 45-70 but burned up a bunch of F with good results too.

I was using Goex Cartridge grade and it worked good, I liked it better then the other GOEX grades, but I have moved on to Swiss and prefer it, less fouling and higher velocity, much lower SDs.
