Im looking for some advice on refinishing a slide.
I have a sig P226R in .22lr. I would like to buy the 9mm conversion kit for it, but then make the slide silver to look like a two tone model. I was looking at buying a stainless slide alone, but cant find one, now I was wondering what would be the best way to get this look? Does anyone have experience with duracoat? will it hold up if I get a silver colour? Should I just strip the finish off the slide and leave it? any better ideas? Thanks guys!
