Going off the board a little for my next pistol. Thoughts?

Rpicka....that's a sweet pstol...do us an rr when you finally get it....might add it to he lengthening list...lol

Go with a Bersa.. Jericho are Meh. The safety on them is in the worst location on earth and its difficult to get parts.

They make a frame mounted version.....just don't see them in Canada

I guess TS could sub in a Tanfo Combat.... Under $600..

Are Bersa parts and magazines easier to get then Grand Power?
The Bersa's look nice and shoot well from reports.
The Grand Power is a nice pistol as well, very accurate, nice trigger and fits my hand well.

Hopefully the latest Grand Power importer will get parts support sorted out soon because they are nice handguns.

There is a P07 Duty in the EE right now you could probably get for $550ish that is if the seller actually replies to your pm

Nice but my taste runs more towards the P09 which is ###y in FDE! Thanks for the heads-up though.

Based on the feedback here and some further research I would say the Bersa is the frontrunner although I wish there was more intel on the Thunder Pro. Very few reviews came up in my searches. Then IRUNGUNS throws a wrench in it with a sweet deal on the Sig P320. Lots of great reviews and it ships with 2 mags and a holster. I mentioned steering clear of the big boys on this one but I have never owned a Sig before. Very tempting.

I had the Steyr and CZ duty. both great little pistols, and wouldn't hesitate to buy and use either or. I like the triangle sites on the Steyr. Just don't shoot 9 anymore so sold them. The steyr was a great little pistol, being plastic and light was very snappy however it was still easy to keep on target and fire quickly. The trigger was a little gritty at first but smoothened out over time. don't hesitate to buy one, they are great little guns.

I fondled a Steyr L-A1 a couple of weeks ago and it felt really nice - even balance, nice weight and solid. I was there to buy an M&P9, but came very close to buying the Steyr instead. Now you got me thinking about it again - dammit...

Yep! Definitely prefer the frame mounted controls. Easier to manipulate with my dwarf like hands.

Sorry lol

You've got to give it to CZ, for an older gun the 75's with their narrow slides are a great design.
The hammer should be bobbed and the beaver tail extended up a bit more to allow an even higher grip.
A striker fired version with a higher grip would be nice as well. I guess the drop down to the trigger would have to be addressed as well with the higher grip..... or a guy would have to learn to pull the trigger with the second finger!

All in all that's a nice looking model that one....
