In june I will be going on my first black bear hunt. I am going to an outfitter for 1 week where my site has been baited for a month previous to my arrival, should make for an easy hunt

If I tag a blackie I plan on having the hide tanned and if its a great bear I'll probably have a rug made. I have never tasted bear and have heard mixed reviews, some like it... some don't. What do most of you guys do with your bear meat? sausage's? peperettes? roasts? any one have any recipes? any tips for my hunt, besides "bring a bug net..."
