Going rate - .303 Brit?

Canadian Tire or Walmart has Winchester 170 gr PP's around $18.00 box of 20. Shoot fine from my 2 Lee's (Walmart is the cheapest)

Bass pro has the UMC rounds at around $17.00 and LeBarons has them at $25.00, I've been told Bass pro has a discount on ammo going on now.

Yep. I think I payed about $15.50 per box when I got some .303 (FMJ) at Bass Pro back in December.

Sellier & Bellot, if you can still find it, can be had for the same price, also FMJ.

Igman is a little bit cheaper, around the $13.00 mark for 180 SP ammo.

Other than that, you're looking at $20+ per box for any other commercial ammo.

Why didn't you look closer? :D

It's Wal-Mart, so I highly doubt it's .303 in bulk. It's most likely Winchester silver box. Wal-Mart only stocks Winchester ammo now... I bought a bunch of Remington ammo for cheap when they were clearing it out.

Going to, of course, just wanted to know before I made the trip. I didn't have a .303 rifle back then, after all - just my .22's...

A later phone call to them (they are truly disorganized folk at Wal-Mart) disclosed that they might have been Federal Classic, but I doubt it - it looked too dissimilar in terms of packaging.

Here in Vancouver .303 British is expensive. Cheapest I've seen is Winchester Super X for $19.99 in Canadian Tire. Average seems to be around $25-$28 for 20 rounds. I have seen it as high as $35.

.30-06 on the other hand goes for $15/20 rounds if you shop around.

they also only stock politicaly correct calibers and no FMJ any thing all they're .22 frim what i see is solid lead or hollo point no coper plated
