going rate for used NR 858 ?

I know someone who wants to sell his NR 858. Looks in decent condition. Claims it's not high round count but who knows.

Says its chrome lined but to best of my knowledge none of the 858's are chrome.

He's asking $1000 but that's basically new.

What's the going the rate these days?

858 NR : non chrome lined

You know the guy personnaly ? Are you able to inspect the rifle before buying ?

Some people are willing to pay 1200$ for a basic 858 with no extras... I'd say 850$ would be my absolute top price for a NR 858 with its bayonet, 4 mags
 
I bought one with 500 rounds thru barrel for $600 with bayonet and the rest of the goodies. Than again that was abiut 2 months before the ban. Make a wtb for czh2003 which is pretty much the same gun. It should be cheaper. Seen a guy 2-3 months ago selling for $650.


Looks like the 858 now goes for about $800-1000. I wouldn't pay any higher.

Id maybe sell my czh2003. Has the orginal beaver barf furniture and full set of fab defense with folding stock.

So 100% these things never came chrome lined? Don't want to argue with the guy on this point if I'm incorrect.

A grand just seems high to me. $850 seems like it should be very top dollar if you could get em for a grand new.
 
Non restricted 858 rifles were never chrome lined BUT non restricted czh2003's did come chrome lined.
Restricted 858's were also chrome lined.

Best way to check is to see the rifle markings and make sure it is a cz858 or not and look at the muzzle to see if there is any chrome on the tip

No, 100% it's an 858. He say's its chrome lined but just because it's a shiny bore doesn't mean chrome. I don't think it is and believe he's just incorrect on this point.
 
Not chrome lined isn't the end of the world like many would like you to believe. Clean it after usage, takes 10-15 minutes of your time to relax while cleaning.

800$ would be my offer to him.
 
None of the NR 858s (except the sporter) are chrome lined because they were fitted with new barrels.

I paid 850 for a 2006 model last spring when the rest were prohibs and it came with some nice wood funiture, 4 mags, pouch, and a bayonet. I even thought that was expensive for the time lol
 
Depends on what the gun comes with. If its in all original condition with all original accessories that came with it then $900 shipped is a fair price for you and the seller. Then just add on for extras that are worth something to you and deduct on original parts that are missing.
