I bought one of those new also. Still have it and by far not a gun I grab out of the safe. The maxus or x3 will stay with me long after that is gone
Not a gun I would buy today to shoot trap with that is for sure
Cheers
3macs.. is there much of anything in the shotgun line that you haven't owned at least one of.....???![]()
I was out again today left the 1100 at home and kept it to the gti. I'm going to let the owner keep possession of the 1100. Skeet is over for the winter and there switching to trap and I think I'll just stick to the o/u thanks for the input guys, I feel as if you guys say there decent if I have the ability to repair on a regular basis!
Not too many my friend in what I call the average joe guns if they were a pump or semi for sure so most would be good for Trap in the 12ga versions
I never got deep into the O/U except the K ones when I was trying to break them all years ago and those I have sold off. SXS is the other one I do not collect other than my grandfathers model 21's .As a kid in my dad's shop the new product brochures would show up and most years I would start saving for the next model out
I pretty much did that until 13 years ago when I started the old cancer battle and almost stopped buying guns or became very selective and started to down size but thank God so far I am winning that battle and stopped reducing the herd . I love the 28ga and 16ga and have an easy 50 many makes and models between them alone. I think 33 or 34 in 28ga if I count the single shot ones
I will leave it at that since I could ramble about shotguns for pages and pages
Cheers
Hey guys I'm newer to shooting. Was shooting with a stoger condor and went to a Citori gti. Been crossing my mind to try a semi but not 100%sure. I have a lineup on a Remington 1100 classic trap with chokes and comes with 7 chokes. Now it is $1000 which is about 200 cheaper than new and saving the taxes. I want to be able to break free if I don't like the semis, but if I do like them I don't want to buy twice. I find it hard to tell when asking someone at the range to try there's. (To much intimidation) should I bite the bullet?
