Comer, Ga. – (September 2016) – In the Precision Rifle Series competition, long-range shooters of all skill sets have been tested on some of the best terrain this country has to offer. All shooters agree that no matter your skill set or experience, the shooting platform used is critical to achieve success. The MasterPiece Arms BA Chassis system, used by Team MPA has proven how true that statement is by dominating the PRS podium at the Idaho PRS and Meaford, Canada PRS competitions. Four out of the top ten finishes at the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Idaho match, Aug. 26 – 28, 2016, went to shooters using the MPA Chassis system. At the 2016 Meaford Long Range challenge held over Labor Day weekend, five of the top seven spots were won by Team MPA shooters.

“We at MasterPiece Arms couldn’t be more pleased with the success shooters are having with the MPA BA Chassis system,” said Phil Cashin, President of MasterPiece Arms. “Our precision rifle chassis is a superior player in these tough long-range shooting competitions. When our chassis is the one being used by the majority of top finishers that should tell you that MasterPiece Arms BA Chassis is truly something special.”

The MPA BA Competition Chassis is machined on MPA’s CNC Horizontal Machining Centers from 6061 aluminum to exacting tolerances. The MPA designed and produced buttstock is totally adjustable, including length-of-pull, recoil pad with adjustable height and cant and adjustable cheek riser. The MPA BA Competition Chassis offers many of the standard features that have made the MPA BA Chassis system popular with shooters and includes special enhancements specifically designed to provide a competitive advantage when shooting Long Range Precision or

Tactical competitions. These features include:
-Rotating barricade stop – locks rifle in place when shooting on a variety of barricade designed stages.
-Additional hole locations on the fore-end for locating the rotating barricade stop.
-Trinity Rail System – used to attach a bipod to chassis much closer to mag well when shooting off oil drums or similar props providing shooter a rock solid setup. The rail can be added or removed as needed depending upon the stated requirements.
-Modified magazine well – allows side loading of magazine into chassis – known as the “Ryan Castle” magwell cut.
-Bag rider attachment for better rear bag recoil management.
-Reduced weight due to elimination of the monopod system.

Yeah, it's hard to ignore it when you see tons of people migrating to it...

Going to try the Tangodown Flip-grip with it.

You'll have to give us a review after you've tested it out. The CORE guys mentioned at the match that these chassis are super popular at PRS matches down south. This article supports that.

Turns out there was a mix-up and Insite already had my chassis across and thought it was one of the ones they had ordered. They had their new action in it at the match. Its in the mail now and I should have it on Monday.

Monkey see. Monkey do?

Nice stocks but please give us a review and please tell us why they are better than say a KS ARMS stock

I know they are really good and popular but it would be nice to have a local tell us the straight goods looking forward to seeing your thoughts as I am sure it will meet your expectations. Jefferson

My 6x47L Surgeon. If I like it I will get one for my 223 trainer and my Quad (they're working on rimfire versions)

I've never held a ks, but looking at the pictures of it, it is a good bit less refined.
On the mpa, pay particular attention to the thumb cuts by the grip, the more angular "barricade stop" in front of the mag well, built in bubble level, qd barricade swivelling stop, plethora of qd sling sockets, etc.
They were obviously made and fine tuned by people that shoot prs, all day, every day. Really impressive, I'm considering ditching my ai ax chassis for an mpa.
