Going to be lots of MPA chassis in the PRB stats this year.

They spin so that you can shoot at angles. You can also use the flat side as the standard barricade block that works with the front of the magwell.

Precision rifle evolution!

It locks in by friction and the wedging effect. Others tried mine after the PSOC practice on Saturday and were also easily able to make hits on the 1100 yards target once the rifle was dialed in for wind.

I like the bubble level idea, but what does this chassis offer that is so ground braking that it leaves cadex, mdt and other aluminium chassie builder in the dust? I mean it got a barricade mount but you can mount that on any chassie with a pic rail no?

Ergonomics mainly.
They're easier to shoot accurately, especially from improvised positions. Not all chassis are equal in this regard, and some are straight up terrible.

I was thinking the Cadex Competition would be in the same league. Personally I like having the barrel shroud. Then you have less to worry about when bracing off of side barricades or shooting through fencing and such for any type of barrel contact. Plus the action is inline with the comb reducing felt recoil.

Plus all in all for the minor differences I am always inclined to support Canadian and work with our Canadian manufacturers to design and manufacture better products.

Kombayatch, I did like that pistol grip you have on it. What is it? We normally install Ergo Deluxes for the palm swell, but that looked interesting if a little limiting for shooting weak hand.

Not trying to be a #### here, just trying to educate myself.

So what are those ergonomic things? Mag cut out for easyer mag change wen close to the ground and thumb rest? Are those thing more prs specific?

Also those winning competitors that are using that chassie did they buy it or were they sponsored? To me it makes a big difference cause I mean take 5 top ten guy , give them a equal performance chassie to the competition and enjoye 5 guy's in the top ten with your chassie! Now you can say well you see our product is superior cause "x" chassie have in top ten "y" has 2 and we have 5! But I mean those guys were there anyway.

I am just curious. Btw, I really like the look of the od grean and there price are really competitive! But I dont intend to trow my mdt lss-xl and skeleton to the trash never the less. But I am no competitor.

The mag well cut is for exactly what you described. The AI AX rifles and chassis also have these.

The guys that are winning are using gear that they like (although there are rumours out there that guys shoot with one type of optic and then swap in a sponsor's optic for picture time). In all honesty though I don't think that they would be hampered by using one chassis/optic/action or another. If you look at the top competitors their gear is all over the place. The MPA chassis has tonnes of cool features but if you don't have the skills it won't make you win.

It is a constantly evolving game and I expect match directors to respond to these features. I personally have bought a Reasor Game Changer bag just to see how I can make it less effective at my future matches - I am doing the same thought process for the MPA accessories (I have to guess as I don't have one).

Edited: The top spots at the comps I ran/attended (admitted small fry) have seen ATRS actions/700 actions/PGWs in XLR chassis/B&C stocks/AI chassis/Manners all topped with different types of optics. Run what you brung and if you have skills you will do fine.

Norinco CQ grip with a bit of modifications using wood and JB weld. Sierra Precision grip is the closest I have seen, but it is smaller. Most people can't reach the trigger with my grip.

Been designing a new version that I am going to 3D print shortly.

Mag cutout allows you to change mags that have the 4 round extension in the prone position without having to lift the butt of the rifle up. It will help in any situation where you need to change mags quickly. I really like it.

Some are sponsored, some buy them.

These things won't take someone from the bottom of the pack to the top. Top shooters will still be in the top regardless of what they use, but some of the features can help them beat other top shooters. Matches are often decided by a points few points (1-3).

I designed many of the MLRSC stages to try and negate the advantage of the MPA chassis, but the reality is that you can't completely negate their advantage because they are genuinely effective in many situations.
