Going to test: S&W .308 Ammo in M14

Hi guys,

I secured a box of Smith & Wesson .308 150Gr. Ammo, and I was wondering if anyone has had any success with it?

I plan on testing it this weekend, but was looking to see if anyone else has used these rifle rounds before?

Heck i never even knew S&W made 308 ammo

S&W hasn't made ammunition for quite some time; I think they quit making it some time in the 1980s.

Huh the whole BOX? They come in nice 10 packs hehe all marked S&W 150gr Soft point.

I think i want to try a pack.

I still have half a case of 38 Special , Smith and Wesson manufacture, (untouched for now) Is the rifle ammo packaged the same as the pistol in the blue and white boxes ????

Blue and White Box, and the 10 packs inside are indiviual clear pack with Big Stickers on them.

Never seen s&w centre fire ammo (rifle) but do have couple boxes 38sp.+ P ammo and 2boxes of 22lr.

I came into a couple of boxes of the stuff and ran it through my last m14 without a hitch. Seemed pretty hot, but shot well nonetheless.
