when you have rural area ... better to take double ammo and have them in two different areas that counting on rural area ...

if you re scared to loose amo make a checklist before leaving home and double check.

i ve been in some areas where no rurals were living so whatever the caliber you have dont count on where you can buy them.

Stick with your .308 and spend your money on a quality scope, a quality bino, a decent knife, and a bunch of 150gr or 165gr TTSX bullets, and you'll be in great shape.
