Going to weld up my own guns

The reason being that I've had my 12(6) taken away, not revoked, and I need to deactivate 4 prohib handguns....I went to court to fight it, and the judge just fed me to the crown....It was really nice of them to let me keep my Grandfather's little 32 Colt only under a 12(7) class, I now have 4 yes four valid PALs!! Anyways, I've had enough, and am going to weld them up myself, probably worth more as paperweights anyway! I'm going to follow the guide lines set out for us, and as a welder, I'm sure that I can do a better job than anybody. Has anybody got some suggestions? I don't want to pay a gunsmith on top of all this.

"...I've had enough..." That's how they do it. They have more money than you do. What reason did they give you for the revocation? Just curious.

the hard part if you dewatt them will be getting a gunsmith to sign off on work they did not do.....

sell them to somebody else as working guns

They never issued me a revocation. They just simply sent me a new (replacement) PAL without my 12(6) on it...It was up to me to prove that I should have it...I've legally owned my Grandfathers 1903 .32 colt for twenty odd years....the crown didn't even look at my paperwork, case dismissed, I/we burn. Let's face it, they took the full autos, then came for the converted autos, short barrels are gone, black and greens are on their way out, only to be followed by semi auto shortly. We can't fight the big dog, He's already got his teeth sunk into our ass, He's not going to let go, he's going to get them....:canadaFlag: Proud to be a free Canadian.

12/6

If you re-registered the 12/6 gun prior to Jan. 1/03 I am hard pressed to see how they could revoke your 12/6 status as that would constitute continuous possession. Have you contacted CSSA or NFA?

With prohibs selling in the the $150-$400 range I can't believe your best option is to weld them up rather than sell them.

I know it's frustrating but by giving up you are doing exactly what the government wants you to do.

I was told that it was a criminal offense to issue more than one PAL to one person...I have four valid PALs. My second PAL has the 12(6) class that has not been revoked, none have been revoked....It's not a case of giving up, It's a matter of acceptance...Face it, we've never gained any ground, we never will....I'm not pessimistic.. I'm a Canadian realist.:canadaFlag: :puke:

welding

you can't silver solder a gun up and be legal, has to be
hot weld, but me thinks that is not the issue here, I know CFC are a
bunch of sh==, been dealing with them for years, but they are not that stupid
There is something else going on here, I will als ask, did you let your PAL run
out, is not they can't do what you are saying.

Sounds to me like there are parts of this that we aren't hearing. Sadly, giving up is a reality, I am talking to a guy who is right now liquidating his collection because he does'nt want to put up with it anymore. He's doing the right thing however, he's selling the restricted to me, and thinking about joining cgn to spread the wealth back into the community, cus wow, he has some very very very nice pieces!

The part about having a gunsmith sign off is part of the asinine BS; there is no LEGAL definition of a "licenced gunsmith".

It is not the government that is screwing you, it is the usurping Liberal hold-out bureaucrat bastards.

Let's go for a strong majority in the next federal election; no more talk about "hidden agendas", I want to change the civil service regulations to DE-employ and DE-pension these filth. Its time for the worm to turn.

Their only comeback is the Eichmann plea, "I vas just following orders.."
That defence got the original Nazis hung at Neurenberg, why shouldn't it get the new "secret government" types fired? Remember, most of this stuff is now under the purview of our peerless national police force, directed by a bunch whose wrong-doings are just now coming to light. They should all qualify for lifetime Liberal party memberships!

If you give up, you lose.

Loser.

Doesn't have a pleasant ring to it, does it...........

Dear Dreamer,You really don't get it...You can't reason with a dial tone,or unanswered mail. A lawyer...against the big dogs..How much cash can you lose?
We'll see how far you'll be prepared to go when your time comes..and it will. Will you be ready to be a criminal, and stand to lose all of your guns? That's where it's going, and you know it. I resent being called a loser, I fought to the best of my ability to the bitter end, I am Canadian, and I WILL remain, a law abiding citizen.:canadaFlag:
