Gold plated red gun servey. Anyone interrested?

I have had this idea since a while now.
I'm a professional metal polisher since almost a decade and always wanted to chrome polish a gun and maybe gold plate it or at least nickel plate it.
I was wondering what was your thoughts on this and if you guys would buy a gold plated red gun.
Wich rifle or handgun would you choose and how much would you pay for it?
If there is enough people interested maybe I would do a couple :)

Personally I think I would start with an sks wich is cheap and would look nice with a refinished woodstock and would price it to around 900 all done.

A genuine parade or presentation gun that was plated "over there" (whatever country its from) would have real collector value.
Getting one done here, now, would be nice looking, but still a Bubba milsurp.

That was with the rifle...bought it off the EE from a guy on the west coast who did/does them himself. There's some gold plating on it also I believe.
