Hi All,

So here's the deal, I need a replacement stock for my wife's brand new Henry Golden Boy. She dropped it while we were at the range today(unloaded, just didn't do the case up properly) and it has marred the stock pretty good. I did a quick Google and couldn't find a seller. Henry doesn't list them in their store. I am posting this while still at the range, so it's not the most thorough search. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
bwilk

Since it's wood you may be surprised at what can be done to fix it so that it looks like new again for a small cost. Post some good pictures of the damaged area and the wood workers in the group can suggest options.

Even if its the brass / brass plating that is damaged that can be recoated at a local metal shop or reconditioned by yourself if the damaged hasn't taken off the coat for a fraction of the price of replacing it.

I'll grab some pics later, I'm currently at work. The brass has a bit of a scratch on it, but it would easy to polish out (even for a noob like me). The wood is where I get a little worried. It landed on the end of the stock and splintered it vertically a bit. Needless to say, she will be getting a foam case cut for the gun. The cheapo fabric case is not really secure enough to keep it as "pretty" as she wants it. Thanks all.

repair

If it justg splittered and not missing any big chuncks or if chuncks came out and you have them all it should be an easy fix for a good woodworker/carpenter. The repair should be able to be made and you and your carpenter will be the only ones that know. except everyone who reads this.lol

Hope this helps
Steve
