Got hold of about 700 rounds of Russian Golden Tiger ammo.
It is steel cased, Berdan primed, FMJBT ammo. Says it is non-corrosive.
Looks to me like repackaged military ammo but it looks very clean and fresh, judging by the finish of each round. It is green lackered, primers and rounds sealed by a red varnish. Very bright jackets, not a single scratch. Packaged in rows of five with a little paper square between each row in a 20 round box.
Anyone around here knows anything about that ammo?

Yup, got a case of 1000 and it's non-corrosive and as good if not better than the wolf stuff!!!

Have fun!!!

The only place that I can seem to find that fits the description (i.e. green lackered) given by PP is Districorp.ca in their ammo section.

It is Hungarian ammo made n the 70's and it is non-corrosive.

They have 7.62x51 but from a Portuguese source.

Where

I really don't know anything about this ammo. There were the only two cases remaining bought by a friend and we split between three of us.
I made an error in the description: the sealing lacker at the case mouth is purple/violet. The one at the primer's annulus is red.
The case head is marked 7,62x39 and there is a stylized "B" at the opposite sector.
