Golf ball cannon question

Used to have one down south. It was 1.75 bore and minimum wall thickness was 3/8" .375". It was heavier at the breach and at the crown. It was patterned and scaled down from a 12# napoleon cannon used in the WBS. Barrell length was 25" IIRC. Built a wheeled carriage for it. A friend machined up 4 barrels at the same time. They are a hoot. Don't underestimate the range that they can have.
