i am thinking of making golf carts available for the 2008 IPSC nationals in Lethbridge for shooters to rent. The cost would be between $40 and $50 per half day of shooting. how many people would be interested in this? the distance bwteen the first range and the last is about 800 meters. the distances between most ranges is about 50 meters except for the last couple and they would be about 200 meters.

Youch, that's a ton of money for a half-day rental! Most golf courses usually charge between $10 and $20 for 18 holes...about a half day. I bet you'd get a lot more takers if the price was lower.

Golf carts.... on a range? What's next?... Caddy's:D

Here's my solution to haulin' gear.... 'Holds six long guns and all you're gear.

Having a slave to pull the cart is nice!!!:D

I wouldn't pay fifty. But I would pitch 10-20 to have them to haul the groups that have to go from the first to the last range. Also could you change them to fit four people instead of two then it would only be $10 each.

So next years nats are going to be half day format. Are you going to be required to be at the range all day every day?

Mass is right. i can't foster this one off on Todd. Part of the reason why we bid on the Nationals for 2008 was that it was after my term as SC. i can honestly say that i could not have done both jobs and kept my sanity or probably Cathy.

Hey Walter

Just add $10-15.00 per person for the match and provide a cart per 4 people or so many carts per squad.

depends on the size of the range, they do it at PASA park for the US nat's and it works out great, but I can see it being a massive headache on a range that doesn't have car sized paths between ranges. I'd rather see the effort be put towards getting fulltime cro/ro's that way the shooters can patch their own targets when shooting and not be on the range when not shooting.

will there be any offroad or rally type carts to upgrade to? would you allow privatly owned carts on the ranges or just the ones that get rented?
