this is Australia---- where the Game is not respected, Where the animals are "PESTS" but for a Cool dude with some morals and ethics , its a Hunters Paradise at the moment.............
im trying to take leaf out of international books regarding Game status, respect and ethically hunting them etc......... most other hunter in Aus would of 'slayed' up on the Fallow........
the difference is, They may get to hunt a couple times back to back, until the deer wise up an or die..... that is the herd for that property, say 20-30 animals.
once they spook off, or die, they arnt there much or its hard- they get a spotlight out
i hunt it often, the farmer allows me to do what i do, as long as deer do get shot over time. each time i go there 1-3 animals do not make it back to the paddock..
but i get to hunt it whenever an pretty much exclusive now, with exception to the poachers from the adjoining Forestry/ Forest land.. often city folk looking for the Stags.
ive camped up the back of here an had a vehicle come thru the private gate an into the property 1k , thermaling from their vehicle. weekends suck
