Dave
thanks for the good luck....... even before l,ve left the big smoke here..ive been blessed with good luck...
wahhhooooooooo a week in the bush..;)

Yup! Thanks so much for the luck! I sure hope I get to use my knife! If not ... I just love being outdoors!

LOL.. Famous question... " Do bears $hit in the woods"  :D

Hope you don't get too wet ... they're calling for rain at "Bob" Fri. (100 percent ) Saturday ( 80 percent ) and light showers, Sunday (40 percent)

Not to worry ... a little rain hides a lot of scent & sound ... the deer will be a little disadvantaged ... in your favour. So get out there in your rain gear and
stay warm & dry ... and plan ahead next year for a couple more days off .

Don't concern yourself with that knife ... just try to stay cool & calm when
Bambi appears ... you know what you have to do ... and it sounds like there will be lots of help nearby anyways !

Best regards & good luck to "mommabear" & family !

Isn't Bobcageon like only an hour or 2 north of Toronto? If so, how is it wmu 6a?

Well all in all I hope you have a great time and hopefully you see some animals and just have a blast.

We want pics on Sunday night :D

We got to "cageon around 7ish... unloaded the truck and headed out to our stands... a beautiful sunny day it turned out to be. Lot's of fresh signs of deer but did not spot a one!
Saturday woke up to extreme cold and wet conditions.. but troopers that we are headed out to our stands , Fogducker was sweet I had the truck this time for cougar hill, so stayed warm and dry. Again though, we did not see any bambi's .

The guys are there for the rest of the week so I tryely hope they fill their tags.

There was alot of shooting all around us, found fresh deer guts and spots of blood. Our neighbour got one the other day.

It was still a great weekend! I love being outdoors like that. So peaceful!

Oh, I'm now nicknamed "firestarter" lol... I seemed to be the only one able to get the fire going in the cabin... :D

Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed for the guys there this week! ;)
