gonna get my 1st gun!!

The beauty of a rimfire is that ammo's dirt cheap. When you first get your gun, buy just a 50 box of every kind you can find, to figure out what your gun likes to shoot.

If you come across a REALLY bad one, give it to someone else on the range or wherever.

No need to waste $ on targets, you can print them from places like www.mytargets.com and many others. Another fun target for rimfire practice is spent shot hulls from the nearest range. Free, and a good size to practice on between 50 and 150.

Have fun, and be prepared for an addiction worse than drugs!

riccoman... I think you are allright buddy... you can take a little abuse with class. You will do very well here.:)
If you want to take a trip up the 115 for a shoot on my private range you are welcome. You could always check out Accuracy Plus in Peterborough while you are at it.

Thanks for the support dudes. Now I just gotta wait for the PAL to come in the mail.

As for the wife, we set up something called the R.H.F.F

Rico's Hunting and Fishing Fund
She made a $200 donation a few weeks ago. Anyone else wanna contribute? :D

Ya you sound like a good guy rico :)
You should take BREDD up on his offer:) & shoot off all his ammo :D

When this thread started I initially thought "iamacooksbook" had moved to Ont & changed his name

Your wife's got class rico. Took me a while to get donations I'll tell ya

Once you get set up you should take up BIGREDD on his offer. He knows a thing or two and actually can be found at a pretty big store near you I am told. Well, either that or he's just a creation of the internet and does not actually exist as some have said.

All the best man. Don't be a stranger........

Hey I was just sitting here and wondering, cause its fun to try to organise guy's lives in Ontario from out here in BC.:D . But I wonder if uncle REDD might just have a .22 or so an' maybe roco could try a few before the PAL even showed up....

I just borrowed a Marlin Model 925 from a teacher in town (I'm away on "business" right now) and so far am quite impressed with it. Only taken a few shots with it but it seems accurate and pretty well made.

Salty you need to move to Ontario... yeah and I already sent Ricco a P.M.
I am hoping to meet his wife too.;)
We usually get together for a Turkey shoot in late March.... Chilly
Willy is gonna supply the prizes:eek:

I am is I? I think knowing what your effective range is and shot density is prize enough for us serious turkey hunters. can't wait to pattern those new Kick's Gobbling Thunder chokes in my 11-87 3"ers with that Winchester Xtended Range #6 shot. Maybe Redd might shoot a tom this year farther away than 8 yards......

BIGREDD said:
Bring a muzzle for Chilly... I don't want to listen to him whine when he gets smoked with his 2 3/4 inch turkey loads.
Lets hijack this one good.

LMFAO, Ballgag it is:eek:

I wanna site in my 338, still havent had a chance.

I still have some 1 3/8 oz Hevishot #6 I wanna pattern out of my UO.
IM gonna shoots me a birdie with it this year:p

You want a ball gag DB...if you can get your mouth around my brass set they come with a nice turkey skin sack.

I need some serious trigger time with my new 260 Rem and my two 11-87's with the GT chokes. Should be interesting!

You have to pull your finger out of your nose first before you pull a trigger.

I wanna see what that 260 will do...
Gonna go try and get something going in the morning...
