Gonna Start Loading 300RUM...Info Please(NEW INFO NEEDED PLEASE!!!

Just wondering if anyone would share there load info with me, gonna start loading for this caliber and would like an idea where to start.
I was thinking about trying Retumbo, but I'm sure some of the Reloaders line would work as well...What shoots accurately for you guys?

TY, I've read that as well.
I'm thinking about 100gr Retumbo w/ 180accubond...3300fps give or take?

Both my son and I shoot this cartridge alot and have played with bullets from 150-200 gn. I like the 200 gners with retumbo and the kid shoots 165's with RL 25. I have played with US 869 and 50 BMG as well. Best results with 200 gns with retumbo so far still playing though as always. I have used both fed 215 and CCI 250, Fed 215 better with US 869 other powders no diff.

This is one of the most impressive cartridges I've ever used on game, talk about bang/flop

I use 200 grain nosler partitions, rem cases, 91.5 grains of RL 25, fed215 GM for a velocity of around 3100 fps in my 700 LSS if that's any help to you

Used 89 gr of Rl22 behind a 180 AB, 3220, shot tight little groups.

Also had good luck with 7828 as well

I have found 95 grains of Reloader 25 behind a 180 Accubond or ballistic tip to be superb.

never toyed with retumbo though.

Going with a set of Lee Die's.
The press is a Lyman.
Just wondering does it matter which brand of shell holder I use, and what size of holder will I need?

If you bought Lee dies you should have a shell holder with them unless you bought the RGB dies.

Haven't bought them yet so not sure, I know some of the catalogues specify that they don't come with shell holder...

Last time I was at the range there were two old boys playing with a 300 RUM loaded with Retumbo and it was making some pretty awesome groups witha 200 gr. bullet.
