I was just wondering what a good .223 AR brand would be.

Didn't you post yesterday about the same topic? For ARs, you need to be a lot more specific. Price point is a good start. It's kinda like asking what a good V6 car is.

This we can work with. What do you intend to use it for? Do you need it for taking courses, if so what kind? Civvie side shoot'n'scoot, tactical, operator stuff? Fun time competition like 3-gun, service rifle or CQB matches? How about plinking at the range for ha-has? What is your budget?

"Colt" is a good brand. It has pretty cool font, is highly recognizable, is pretty common, and used by quite a few different types of users, mainly in north america but some overseas as well, and it just plain sounds cool. COLT
