Good .45 for small hands.

Ruger KP345 (Stainless) or P345 (Blued) is the thinnest .45ACP you can buy up here; thinner than a 1911 - It's almost too small (feels like a .22lr) :)

I was on the verge of buying the P345 and the owner of the gun shop pulled out a S&W 1911PD:eek: I went home with the Smith, but I really did like the little Ruger. If we can get CCW in Canada one day, I'll buy one for sure!

You could try a blackhawk in .45 ACP/.45 LC

Single action revolvers have a very natural grip.

Thats the only way to escape the limits created by the dimmensions of the round itself.

The ruger P345 feels very nice in hand too though if you are set on a pistol.

Not that I am plugging ruger.

But thats the cheapest way into a slim .45 unless you go with a norinco and scalled down grips.

I have small hands also and I have fitted my Colt Gov't Model in .45 (series 70) with a flat mainspring cover and have had no problem in firing tens of thousands of rounds in the last 15 years. My grips are custom made from Wicked Grips and are of average size.
