I just puschased a Tikka T3x CTR and paired it with Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50.
Even though the CTR has a slightly higher cheek rest than other Tikkas when I fully rest my cheek and cheekbone into the stock im looking at the bottom of the scope.
I've approximated the amount i would have to raise is aprox 0.5" - 0.7" by using several carbord layers until i was able to see straight through the scope.

Is there any good aftermarket adjustable cheek riser? Ive seen some cheap versions that are made of cloth and foam but they seem kinda soft and I imagine that each time you lower your head you might press more or less thus changing your eye height.

Others I've seen are adjustable Kydex and have to be drilled into the stock.

Also for the Kydex versions would I have to remove the cheek riser the Tikka CTR comes with? Or put it on top?

These Kydex seem more sturdy and better quality but what do most shooters use? Will I have any issues drilling into the CTR stock? Is it common to do so or is it not recommended?
Do you guys have any recommendation or good brands?

Many thanks!

I use the tac pro cheek riser like the amazon picture you posted, I've had no issues drilling any stock to use them although I would think you'd probably want to remove the factory cheek riser. If I was to need another cheek riser I'd probably check out the Kalix Teknik one.

I actually just got the to exact same set up as you, but I got the gun used from another cgner and he installed the tac pro, it just rides over top of the stock tikka cheek rest. I think they sell two models, a skinny and a wide, not sure which one I’ve got but the wide is probly your best bet.
