I've been thinking about adding to my spread after going hunting with a buddy over a large spread and just watching the birds pour in,the same birds that would not even look twice at my setup of about 8 deeks.(I usualy hunt ponds and on small rivers) so I am looking at getting about 3 dozen deeks.I was looking at the final approach floaters the ones that are about 39.99 a dozen,I'm not so worried about having to hot glue a seam here and there but if the paint is super chippy I probably wont get them as I will be using an unslotted bag to carry them,as you may be able to tell I am on somewhat of a tight budget so my options are limited.Anyone have any experience with these deeks? good or bad tell me your thoughts. Sometimes its just being in the right spot, not the amount of decoys. I 've run as many as 4 dozen dekes and as few as 3, and let me you, limits were shot over both, not everytime though 
. If you're looking for Black Duck decoys check out the Hidgon "Battleship" Super Magnums..... awesome. Green Head Gear BDs did not last, paint started coming off asap, even in padded bags. I've never owned the FAs, but have hunted over them for two seasons and they have held up well. Just my .02 cents!

Brand? Not so sure, so will not comment, however, I would buy Blacks as they the most skittish of all, and their presence will draw all others. Good luck. SBB391.
I like the Higdon product, got 24 of their foam filled SUPER MAG Battleship mallard decoys & black duck decoys. Got a couple dozen of their Super Mag full form goose shells as well.

With divers...excluding whistlers, the more deeks the merrier. Puddlers respond well to large spreads as well. But...smaller setups, say a dozen or less late in the season as IMO puddle duck spreads are more viable once things freeze up a bit... so fewer deeks work well. Any brand, but I prefer oversize blocks.
yeah I was looking for mostly mallards and blacks and maybe a few greenwings,the reason I wanted to get a good spread is because the areas I will be hunting are not the areas the birds want to be(the birds seem to want to be in posted fields or holding up on private lakes and ponds)mostly the birds I am getting are on a flight path going from food to water or vice versa,usualy a combo of good calling and a good spread of deeks are the only way to get there attention.The deeks I own allready are GHG oversized mallards and blacks and they are really huge I must say and have very good anatomy and look great but are fairly chippy and very heavy(I pack into all my spots usually in one trip so huge decoys are a PITA)

I am going into season 8 with my GHG's and no problems at all. No paint chips, cracks etc. Mine are all life size series...I got rid of Magnums years ago, take up too much room in the bags and boat.

I prefer carry-lite aqua keel when I can find them. They tend to land right side up when I pitch them out. saves a LOT of time in the morning, not wading / paddling out to knock over 20 dekes...
