Good/Cheap scopes for 10/22

I just bought the same NC Star scope for my 10/22. Glad to hear you like it...

I got a 3-9x56mm with illuminated recticule for $40 USD and love it.

For what it is worth...Bushnell is no longer offering the 3-9x32 .22 scope (this year) as it is now being covered by their Simmons and Tasco models. I guess that this was just too much duplication in their brands and Bushnell is trying to show the Bushnell brand as the primary line with Tasco, Millett and Simmons as their down line models. Phil.

The Bushnell Banner 4x12 is a good choice, its light and not real long which suits most 22's and to be honest the couple I have are very clear. Beleive they sell for around $100 to $120 new.

Sorry peter2772000 it is not a NcStar scope, it's a Tasco 3x9x56mm in mil-dot. Although you should still get good pic quailty from your NcStar scope just it comes in different recticales.

I just got another scope off ebay,(just because)as i had robbed the scope off my 10/22 last fall to use on my daughter's 6.5 i put it on there. it is a 6x18 nikon buckmaster with a fine crosshair with a dot reticle, boy is it fun when you can count the fleas on a gopher at 75 yards.

The Weaver classic rimfires are made in Japan, and clearly (pun intended) the best bang for the buck. I'm nonplussed as to why more vendors don't carry them.

I had the same thoughts when I got my 10/22. I ended up buying a Bushnell Trophy 3 x 9 on it then thought it was a little overkill. So then went and bought a Bushnell 3 x 9 rimfire scope and used the Trophy on my .223. It does the job perfectly for me gopher shooting, plinking and paper punching. I paid $50 can for it and am really pleased I did.
