Day off so I went to the range and made it a milsurp day. Brought out eight different rifles to shoot. Shot 10 to 20 shots per rifle, shoulder a little sore.
The rifles, MAS 36-51, Lithgow no1 mkIII, Longbranch no4 mkI*, Israeli Mauser 7.62, Swiss K31, Romanian M44, Russian M91-30 sniper, ERA P14.
I'm not the best shot with iron sights and probably made it worse with bringing out so many to shoot with. I was very happy with the MAS, seemed to be the rifle that liked me the best today. First time getting it out to 100m, have to do more reloads and practise. Israeli Mauser , K31, Longbranch and Lithgow all shot as well as I could as usual. The Mosins were not cooperating with me. The sniper was not grouping as well as it usually does. The M44 I bought early in the year and today was the first time at 100m. It shot way to the left, easy to fix.
Nice way to spend a morning.
