Re: Them is MAH 9mm's, Boy!
FYI: the 9mm Winchester ammo at Lebaron is such a great deal, they ALWAYS sell out virtually immediately after getting the stock in, and they know it. It's been this way for years (that ammo has been getting CHEAPER there!!!) This was not an unusual occurence, neither at the Markham store, nor in the Mississauga one, so please don't try to blame JIT retail supply for this. They absolutely do not order, stock, or sell enough of this ammo, for the demand in the area. It's either their fault, or they simply can't because of supply issues, don't know which is the case.
Given that I can easily shoot 1000 rounds in a single day of practice, I don't consider buying 3000 rounds of a once-in-2-months special to be unreasonable, especially since I was totally running out of ammo in my stock, and not only did I have to worry about supplying ammo to a black badge student next weekend, there is also a level 3 coming up in less than a month which I want to train up a bit for, plus have enough ammo for myself and another shooter. Maybe you should petition the federal government to implement some 'reasonable' purchase or ownership/storage limits on ammo. that way everyone will be guaranteed to have their share, right?
