Good deal on 9mm ammo

They don't (and can't) plan for unpredictable contingencies like one person deciding to buy up their entire stock.

FYI: the 9mm Winchester ammo at Lebaron is such a great deal, they ALWAYS sell out virtually immediately after getting the stock in, and they know it. It's been this way for years (that ammo has been getting CHEAPER there!!!) This was not an unusual occurence, neither at the Markham store, nor in the Mississauga one, so please don't try to blame JIT retail supply for this. They absolutely do not order, stock, or sell enough of this ammo, for the demand in the area. It's either their fault, or they simply can't because of supply issues, don't know which is the case.

Given that I can easily shoot 1000 rounds in a single day of practice, I don't consider buying 3000 rounds of a once-in-2-months special to be unreasonable, especially since I was totally running out of ammo in my stock, and not only did I have to worry about supplying ammo to a black badge student next weekend, there is also a level 3 coming up in less than a month which I want to train up a bit for, plus have enough ammo for myself and another shooter. Maybe you should petition the federal government to implement some 'reasonable' purchase or ownership/storage limits on ammo. that way everyone will be guaranteed to have their share, right?

Which Lebaron are you talking about? I buy all my ammo from the Markham store, I shoot at least once a week and I'd say that 9 out of 10 times they have 9 mm ammo in stock (usually of more than one kind). Wait a second...maybe I shouldn't have said that. Now you're probably gonna go buy up all they've got left.

If you shoot 3000 rounds a day, why don't you buy your ammo in bulk from one of the other places. I bet you'd be able to get a similar price, or maybe even a better one. And maybe, just maybe, a few of your fellow shooters, you know, the guys who shoot 50-100 rounds at a time, would also be able to buy ammo and go shooting that week.

Well I guess next time I go and buy 1000 rounds of 9mm I better ask them if they have another 1000 for 'others.'
