I'm looking to purchase an sks, and since i'm located near vancouver i was thinking this would be the best option for me. SKS w/ a case of ammo for $350

Yep, nothing wrong with that deal. If I didn't already have an SKS, I might go for that (depending on shipping)

I got my SKS from Lever. I got the sks + ammo special for $350 a month back. They have plenty of SKS selections. Some of them are slightly better than others. The only thing I wish the rounds come with the steel clip like they were before. They've rip them out and sell them individually.

I've got a bunch of the Czech stripper clips if anyone wants them......pick them up in Ottawa or pay shipping, don't care, they are no use to me.

when you said they, do you mean the staff at leverarms went thru every case and removed the stripper clips ? and repacked them.

it wouldnt be worth their time? those striiper clips are cheap .

They are selling 7.62 x 39 cheap now. $160 per case (maybe that's why clips no longer included?)

SKS's are 1,695.00 per 10-rifle case.

Maybe if we wait until Boxing Day???

I bought mine (rifle & ammo) separately from Lever Arms and I paid more than that so it is a good offer. The SKS they shipped me was missing the cleaning rod and kit as well. Being a newbie then, I didn't realize they came with it until much later so I doubt they would have done anything. Be sure to check your rifle if you can or if not make sure they tell you what comes with it.

Well... the boxes I've checked on their pallet of ammo boxes are all stripped out of their stripper clips. All of them are repackaged into clear plastic bags with either 50 or 100 rounds each (then 20 rounds tossed around inside the crate). Maybe they had nothing to do much to count ammo

That sucks! When I picked mine up in store, they actually packed all the ammo pouches, 2 stripper clips, sling, and cleaning kit in a plastic bag for me. The rod was stored inside the gun.
