Good Deal ?

So today, got up early, and went with my buddy to BassPro, had nothing better to do, and we figured to kill some time, he needed a scope, I really didn't need anything but figured what the heck, better than sitting at home, or heaven forbid having to finish up the honey to do list......

My buddy is not a big time hard core fanatic on hunting, firearms, and so on, but we did get him into it and slowly he is building up his collection, today he picked up a Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40 scope, regular price 220, reduced to 107.00, not bad for a brand new scope, and he grabbed a Bushnell Banner Shotgun Scope 1-4x32 for his Rem 870, this was not on sale but got it for 129

I might get the Leupold scope as well, can't go wrong for the price......

So far so good, he saved a bit of cash, got some descent scopes, and we are about to leave....

I am looking at the rest of the scopes behind the glass and down on the bottom of the display case I see as 200 dollar price tag, marked Clearance, and in the stand is a Bushnell Elite 4200, 2.5-10x40 Raingurad, and FireFly reticle.

200 bucks - :eek:

needless to say, I grabbed it and took it home......

now what do I put it on, is my dilemma

So what do you guys think, did I get a good deal ????????

BassPro can have it's good days as well.......
 
I have two of these Elite models and the first one I paid $500 for it and the second one was $375 at LeBaron when the model was first discontinued. You got an awesome deal!

Sorry but it won’t be there on Monday. I bought the last one on my way back from the Pickering gun show early today. They didn’t even find the box for it so I got it for 107 tax in.

It is already mounted on my Benelli R1. This scope made me realize the huge difference there is between quality scopes and cheap manufacture from China, at any price,

If they have had a couple more, I would have bought them as well.

That's what I get for not getting it there and then, as they say you snooze you lose....
