Local Canadian tire doesn't have any. Don't want to spend 400-800 on a collector grade.

Just looking to pick up one because I can and bury it in the safe. No crapco stock garbage on it either lol.

Anyone have good deals on Russians? Should I just grab a Chinese? Is there a large difference?

Looking for a shooter grade. Best deal I have found is Frontiers for $270 hardwood sks

You would be better off to spend $400 on all s/n matching, non refurb SKS in excellent condition than buying a rusty, non s/n matching SKS with BBQ paint for $200. After you run 1400 round of surplus ammo down the barrel, then you realize you spent $550 on the SKS and ammo. In the end you still have a crappy SKS with no collectable value.

Last gun show one of the other fellows has a table of good Russians for 370.oo, But I don't have his card, should have picked one up

You do have a point, I don't plan on shooting it. Just have been moving so much that I only have a few that I hold near and dear to me. So a collector isn't the worst idea since it will be sitting anyways.

They all go Bang my friend . it's his choice. does he have the funds to buy a mint one or does he want one to shoot. and refurbs aren't all rusty. heck if he has the money he can buy both. one to Duel over and the other one to shoot .

Tenda probably has the best prices on Chinese SKS's right now.

In inventory, they have 17 Grade A models for $239...

...and 12 surplus models for $209.

For the extra $30, I'd get the Grade A model.

FWIW, I've previously owned 6 Russian SKS's (5 refurbed and one unissued 55/56) and I sold them all. I prefer the workmanship of the Chinese military versions (civilian models are a different story.)

Tenda has free shipping too. Since you're in Ontario you're stuck paying the 13% HST though.

Canadian Tires all got rid of all their SKS last year when the Liberals tipped them off they would be banned and confiscated from their inventories this year.

Canadian Tire still has M305 for sale here, funny the liberals didn't tell them about that at the same time.
