good deer load for 44 mag

this year im going to use my marlin 44mag to hunt deer any one have any good loads for this cal

24 grains of H110 is a max load under a 240 grain Hornady XTP.
Shoots well in my wifes Ruger '96. Should do as well in the Marlin.

if it was me I would load a 300 gr XTP cuz I think they look pretty cool and with either a 240 or a 300 it's still a short range gun

I owned a Winchester Mod. 94 trapper carbine chambered in .44 Magnum as my first deer rifle. I bought a box of Federal 240 grain HP. With the open sights I was able to pick a loonie off the top of a fence post at about 40 yrds. They are a great close range bush gun. Small twigs and leaves aren't going to deflect that bullet. I'd say just buy a box of factory ammo.
