I see that all the shooters are put into various groups. Then positions are given for each division. But I see that a "lower" div shooter can have a higher score then shooters in a "higher" div.

Anyone want to explain how this scoring/classification works?

At any rate, some Canadians with 1, 2 or 3 besides their name. Congrats on a great first match (I think is a first match).

Wow. Team shoot today was brutal.
We started at the 1000yd this morning and by the time we got down to 300 we had 20mph winds and rain. We managed to get Tom F a 98.x with his dasher at 600 holding 7 ring to 8 ring with 0 wind on his rifle since his 284 was having elevation issues at the 900yd line.

Check Appliedballistics Facebook page for team scores. Not sure when Bryan will have them up but I would guess sometime this evening.

Supposed to be more of the same for 3rd day of individuals.

Generally amazed at just how much of that coal slag grit stayed attached to the scope lens with the rain. UGH!

Shoot enough matches in the USA and you receive a NRA ranking for mid range, long range, etc. Awards are presented in order of importance (Match Winners first), then to the the rankings, depending on number of shooters remaining in the category.
