Good news on ITAR

Could you summarize this thread on the first post.

Specifically how this changes pricing, etc? Its not easy to read through every page for questions i want to ask that have been answered already

Yes, some items will so go through USA state department.
This changeover will mainly be for civilian type handguns and rifles. (that is layman's language, to see the full list it can be looked up on the USA government website)

With this change I still assume USGI items released for civilians can be imported here? Planning to get the Sig M17 surplus.
Please clarify this.

Can we use you guys to bring in parts? Particularly looking for both an ambi AR10 magazine release and a Modlight aftermarket surefire DF600 light head...both companies (sadly/annoyingly) won't ship these to Canada.

What would the cost be to do so?

Does the rules on exporting mags with greater than 30rnd capacity still apply? Mainly curious for the PSA AK 9mm mags for the scorpion

I believe it is changing, iirc gravel is bringing in the magpul scorpion drum mags

Ultimately will depend on what US Commerce Dept. / BIS (along with their inter-agency reviews by DoS, DoD, etc.) allow, but it's sounding like up to 50 rounds (greater than 50 remains on ITAR).

Prophet River will have details as soon as they are available, they already have several licenses pending with Commerce Department submitted weeks ago when this was all first announced.
