Took my reichsrevolver out to the range yesterday and let the old girl sing, this group was shot by my friend at 10 yards. What an accurate old warhorse! We were both impressed to say the least. I was using .44 Russian courtesy of last mountain reloading, it was downloaded ammo perfect for this antique and quite accurate without a big kick (http://www.lastmtnreloading.ca/ if anyone is after any .44 Russian, he also does other obscure calibers). Love my reichsrevolvers, they are guns from another era and definitely look it! We always laugh that the German's didn't include any ejector on these (you hear different stories about why) which is just ridiculous so you have to knock the empty casings from the cylinder with a separate rod (or we figured out you can just take out the cylinder pin and use that!). What a great day on the range :)

Very nice, I have always wanted one of these. They are interesting in that they were more or less obsolete when they were adapted. They are also interesting in that they were likely what spurred Germany to adapt a semi-automatic pistol so early, as they really needed to update there handgun. Even being as obsolete as they were, some still made it to use in WWI, which when you think about it, would kinda suck to be the guy issued one (though it is a impressive service life). More or less, here you go, hopefully you won't ever have to use it, and if you do need to, hopefully you won't need more than 6 shots.
