Hi, I've started getting into using optics on some of my rifles. I prefer fixed power optics exclusively.
I try to buy the best scopes I can afford, which for now is the el paso weavers, generally the T series go past what I can afford to pay on the Fleabay, so I've been hacking away at the K series and others.
I have a leupold 10x and am quite fond of it. I've bid on a number of leupold M8's but haven't snagged one.
Now I find out that these "Burris" guys, also do the forever warranty thingy? I've got to admit, I paid a premium for the leupold 10x because I trust them to replace it, should it fail.
Is there a similar line name of burris scopes that were the fixed power line, that I might be looking for?
What about other brands that I haven't heard of. I've been averse to riflescopes for quite some time, so I don't know alot about the various brands that are quality.
*P.S. I really do only use fixed power scopes, and I find a 10-12 power range just about perfect for the type of target shooting I do.
